In this 44.25 mm model, the history of the Speedmaster aboard the Apollo 8 mission is celebrated by the blackened movement, whose plate and bridges are laser engraved to represent the surface of the Moon. The visible side appears through the skeletonized black anodized aluminum dial, while the hidden side is revealed on the case back.
Presented on a perforated black rubber strap revealing a yellow rubber insert, this watch is entirely crafted in black ceramic, with touches of yellow varnish on the chronograph seconds hands and a laser-engraved tachymeter scale on the glass-coated window. white enamel. The small seconds counter (patent pending) also includes a grade 5 titanium hand in the shape of a Saturn V rocket. This 3D shape is obtained by laser turning, while the colors result from the application of a white varnish, laser ablation and blackening.
